As part of the Downtown Overland Park Partnership annual meeting on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, the Partnership awarded four downtown businesses with Partnership awards, presented by Mayor Carl Gerlach.

Partnership awards are given to merchants making a significant impact on the advancement of downtown business development, image and consumer traffic.
