Jason Carle will be installed as the pastor of Overland Park Presbyterian Church Nov. 15 at 3 pm. The congregation called Rev. Carle during a congregational meeting Sept. 20.
Carle graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a double major in French and Education. He served as an unordained Minister of Youth at Eastminister Presbyterian Church and served as staff, then director of the Heartland Presbytery Urban Network’s Traveling Vacation Bible School and earned his Master of Divinity from Kansas City’s St. Paul School of Theology.
Carle, who grew up in Kansas City, returns to the area after being solo pastor at the only church in Elwood, Ill. He steps in to a position left after Rev. Pat Ramsden, was called to a church in Michigan. Rev. Glenda Watts, interim pastor, preaches her last sermon Sunday, Oct. 31, at 10:30 am.
